I am still looking for a home to purchase in Golden Gate Estates. Alas, I have yet to find what I'm looking for (well, I did once, but someone beat me by a day ) and need another short term rental. As it would be month to month, I have no problem renting a short sale or even a home that is going to foreclosure and can put cash in hand. We don't mind the occasional realtor with clients coming through either.

OR, if someone here can refer me to another person who rents me a home, I will pay you a $100.00 referral fee.

Please PM me if you can help.

Thank you!

Maybe you should just ride around looking for rental signs. There is one for rent on Golden Gate Blvd way out on the right side of the road. I think it is past Everglades Blvd, but I can't remember right off exactly where. I don't know it they will do a short term rental though. There was another on the same road close to Collier Blvd. Not sure it that one is still available.

You might check some of the vacation rental sites which pretty much specialize in short term rentals.
It might mean storing your furniture if applicable since most are furnished but the rates are sometimes quite reasonable/negotiable this time of year.

Can also check craigslist and mls. I haven't actually seen too much in GGE for rent.

Does it need to be in GGE for some reason, since you are looking for short term rental?
