Hello Everybody,

I'm curious about Pebblebrooke Lakes. I have heard/read some nice things about it. Can anybody confirm this or share any insights or personal experiences you may have had. I am particularly interested in what benefits it may offer to kids? lots of kids? I have heard that the kids can walk/bike to school is this true? Are there a lot of activities in the community? I also saw something about a beach in the community? i know it is far from the beaches but how long would it take to get there? Does this community offer a lot for kids?

Any insight/advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi,

I actually live in Cypress Woods which is right down the road from Pebblebrook Lakes, and am very familiar with the North Naples area. Pebblebrook is a gated family neighborhood very close to the local schools (Laurel Oak Elementary School, Oakridge Middle School and Gulf Coast High School). You had asked about whether kids can walk or bike to school, and they certainly can. It’s a very short walk or bike to these schools. This is definitely a family oriented neighborhood with a nice community pool, tennis & basketball courts - as well a wide range of walking trails. There is also a private sandy beach with lounges (but obviously this is not the actual ocean)!

From Pebblebrook to the beaches, it’s a straight shot down Immokalee Road (approximately a 10-12 minute drive). Naples is on a grid system, so getting around by car is fairly simple. I’m originally from the Northeast, and Naples is so much easier in terms of driving and getting where you want to go.

Another community very close to Pebblebrook that you might want to look into is Saturnia Lakes. This is another very nice community – roughly equidistant to the schools that I mentioned above. Currently, I’m seeing more listings available in Saturnia than Pebblebrook, so it might make sense to take a look here as well. Saturnia is also slightly closer to the beaches. Both of these communities are very nice and great for kids.

I would add Indigo Lakes to your list also. It's next to Pebblebrook, family oriented, and also within walking distance to the schools. The middle school Laurel Oak has a sidewalk right into Indigo.

My only problem with Pebblebrooke/Indigo Lakes is that the houses seem RIGHT on top of each other. I feel like the lots are a bit larger in Saturnia.
