Moving to Naples after New Years and I will be looking for Homeowner's insurance. Prices seem to be all over the place. Anyone know where I can get good coverage for a reasonable price?

I got a quote from Allstate for a new 2000 sf home in the estates for 1300 per/year, seemed reasonable.

Price is one thing but good service is another. State Farm will not be competitive. Had SF for years and they could not come close and everything else I insured was thru SF. SF left this market several years ago and has now entered back in. I bet they regret it since Irma. I am with Tower Hill and I could not be happier.

A lot depends on where your house is located, how close to the coast and elevation plays an important role. If you are carrying a mortgage then that will add to the cost of your home. The finance company may demand it.

Good Luck
