I am an educated, 32-year old (specialist physician), white male, looking to move to a city where I may find a large dating pool of intelligent, and attractive women. Target age ranges for said ladies are 23-32. I have lived in glorified college-towns for the past 6 years, and am wary of moving somewhere where the night-life is designed for 18-22 year-olds. What is the Nashville singles' scene like?

The single life will be great in Nashville. Alot of Singles in the area around the West End. Music Row are of Down Town Nashville. This is a young professional group as most of the places are 21 and up. Good place to be.

I am a 39 year old male physician also who moved here from Texas. I am 5'7" 165 pounds pretty athletic ( lift weights daily) more than financially stable. I live in murfreesboro 35 minutes from Nashville. It is pretty bad here. It's been 8 months since I moved here and only people here are either 21 year olds who would not date an older guy or 30 somethings who have 2 kids and divorced. There is not much in Nashville either. I am originally Turkish so I don't know if that's playing a role here. I don't see myself getting a girlfriend here so I am thinking of moving to a more immigrant friendly state like California.

If you are a wealthy doctor with any kind of charm or charisma you can live like Hugh Hefner. I work in health care and we have some gorgeous nurses in the area.

I got turned down by close to 100 ladies so far over my 8 months in Tennessee. At least in Texas I was able to get a date or get lucky every couple of months , especially in San Antonio. I will give this state an other year and 100 approaches. I really like my job here and I really rather not move. Tennessee is a good place to live too, only if you don't need to find a woman.
