Well it appears there is a strong possibility of me relocating to greater Nashville in the near future for work. I am looking for nice rental properties or apartment complexes in Hendersonville, Murfreesboro, Mt. Juliet and Antioch areas. I have been to Nashville’s tourist spots many times but have never really ventured around the suburbs.

Any recommendations from long time residents? Which suburbs are preferred?

My wife and newborn would be moving with me. We like the suburban lifestyle but enjoy also being close to the city. I have lived in Kentucky for about four years now and East Louisville has been my favorite place we have lived while here, so something similar to Middletown neighborhood is what I am looking for.

-Schools are not a high priority but decent ones are preferred.

-We don’t care about nightlife or bars, but do value safe communities with ample parks and recreation opportunities.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions and opinions, I will be continuing to research the Nashville area.

$1250 would be my max. 2 bedrooms is more than enough. Currently in a 2 bed townhome and pay a little over a $1000

I will be based out of one of five locations which include Franklin, Brentwood, Hendersonville, West Nashville or Murfreesboro. Most of my time will be traveling throughout Tennessee, Northern Alabama and Arkansas, but I want to be as close to my home office as possible, whichever location I choose.

Paddock Club North Murfreesboro across from the VA hospital was good for me. Fairly easy jump to 840 also. I believe with a 2 bedroom, garage and basic cable paid for, I was around $1075 (ish) a month.

Thanks! Those look nice. I am so far liking what I see in Murfreesboro and Hendersonville.

"KY_T" If you have anything specific, just shoot me a DM and I will do my best to answer. Directly across the street (Thompson) there are new apartments that were built about 2 years or so ago. They have granite counters and are pretty plush. I'm pretty sure they are more expensive but haven't been in one to check. I didn't see any garages when I went by, but they could be hidden in back. With the Paddock Club I was there about 20 months before I got in the house I built. Pretty quiet and but definitely a safe place.

When I said across the street, I meant directly across from the Paddock Club.....just to clear that up.

There are also some nice looking apartments on St. Andrews Drive and also on Cason lane in Murfreesboro. You'd have quick access to I-24 from there.
