Hello, I'll be moving to somewhere around Nashville this fall and have a son who will enter 10th grade. One of the houses I'll be looking at in May is in the Cane Ridge/Antioch area, and I was wondering about the quality of the high school in that area. It appears to be new enough that a lot of the school websites don't have evaluations on it yet. How do parents feel about the quality of the education offered and level of teacher support? Anything notable about the school I should I know? Also looking at properties in Franklin and Murfreesboro.

I would keep looking in Franklin and Murfreesboro. I'm sure Cane Ridge has good students and excellent staff, but I know someone who works there and they regularly deal with inner-city school issues. However, Metro Nashville Magnet schools are superior to any suburban high school and most of the private schools in town, however you have to test and lottery to get a spot
