Does anyone have any recommendations for a moving company? I am relocated from New York City to Nashville.

Thanks.

I used United Van Lines to move from Connecticut to Nashville and they did a great job! I also used them 10 years ago when I moved from New York to Connecticut and they did a great job back then too.

I moved from southern NJ to East Tn, if you dont mind packing your own truck we used ABF , the prices were good, they drop the truck off , you load it, they pick it up and bring it to your new home, you have to unload. The drivers we had were very pleasant too.

I know using ABF they will give you a price on your move if you call them, but remember ABF is the packing and upacking yourself.I dont know whom your question was too , so I answered what I knew....

I don't know how much stuff you have, but the quotes I received to move a 2BR +den house ranged from approximately $6000 to $10000, depending on u-load vs. full service. This was going from L.A. to Knoxville on a 28 ft truck/trailer. Pretty pricey, but it's a long way and gas is high. Shipping the car was about $1100 more-- they won't let you load it on the moving truck anymore. Hope this gives you a rough idea. Good luck!

I got rid of most of my furniture and bought new. It was cheaper than moving old Furniture. It cost me $3500 flat to move my daughters bedroom set, A living room set that I'm using here in my Media room, Some end Tables, A kitchette china closet, TV's Computers, Lamps, and many boxes.
I used Bekin Moving and Storage and moved from Manalapan, NJ to Nashville, TN.

Default Moving Company options

Also, good to consider using a POD, my clients have found great success with them.
