I am a medical graduate. I will be a resident physician at Meharry, I will have to work some months in Nashville general Hospital and some in Murfreesboro VA. The salary is not spectacular, but I guess I can pay up to $950. I just need a 1 bedroom apt. I have been advised to rent at Antioch due to the mid distance between both hospitals. But the reviews about that town are really bad. I am a female, I know I will be leaving the hospital very late at night and probably arriving before 6 am. I have been looking online at apartments in Hermitage, like Park at Hermitage 5900 Old Hickory Blvd and the Meridian at Hermitage. I would like to hear your ideas

You can get a 1 bedroom Apartment at The Paddock Club 1 block from the Murfreesboro VA for about $880 (ish) I lived there up til about 14 months ago. Very convenient to the VA and quiet. I normally wouldn't recommend the commute from Murfreesboro to Nashville during normal business hours, but if your doing an odd shift, you will be fine. Hollar if you have any other Murfreesboro questions.
