Does anyone know how I can find out what my 911 address is?

I'm not exactly sure what this is myself, but it has something to do with the exact location of where my driveway is or something like that.

I live in Hermitage and I'm trying to sign up with TDS service and the girl I spoke to could not find my street, which is strange because it's been here for quite a few years. The numbers she gave me to verify my 911 address are for Wilson County, but since I live in Davidson County, they couldn't help and I don't know where to look here in the Nashville area.

The one guy I talked to said AT&T might be the ones to call for this area, but we don't want AT&T. We've had them before and had problems with them. We have Comcast now and want to get away from them because their prices are going through the roof anymore. TDS services the Nashville area, so why they can't find this street is unknown.

If anyone knows a site or a phone number I can call to verify my 911 address, it would be greatly appreciated.

I may be wrong but I don't believe TDS has service in Davidson. They are the LEC for Wilson County and La Verge?

Thank you, monkeysmomma, for replying.

TDS does service Hermitage, but they don't service all areas. It's weird how they do it. I don't exactly understand it myself, but I did find out they don't service the area I live in.

Anyway, it doesn't matter anymore now. I complained enough to Comcast and the guy I talked to put us back on the plan we had and made a couple other reductions to our service, so our bill is reduced slightly. So we will just stick it out with them for a little while longer. I like the convenience of having all of their services, but not what they want to overcharge for everything.
