Trying to get an idea what our monthly expenses will be when it comes to utilities, lets say for a 2 story 3500 square foot home, built in 1998 or newer...

we like it cold... and it has been hot this summer and we are home all day.... but our electric has been btwn $400-500 this summer. In the winter it goes down significantly but our gas goes up. Our gas has never been higher than about $350/mo and that was during a pro-long cold spell. End of Sept-Oct and March-beginning of May are very nice... Gas is about 25/mo and electric about $150/mo
