I have a couple of certificates from restaurant.com that I'd like to cash in and use when visiting Nashville in June. I'm looking for recommendations from the restaurants they offer in the Nashville area. We will be traveling with 2 kids ages 11 and 8.

I used a restaurant.com certificate at wildhorse saloon. the food was great, and we were there for free line dancing lessons, which was fun, if not slightly cheesy.

Ted's Montana Grill isn't bad.

B. B. King's is right in the thick of things. Your kids might like it for lunch.

I agree with storey13- Ted's is good.

Big River Grille is always good. Downtown next to the river.

Thanks! I had thought about Ted's, but the purchase requirement is pretty high, so I wasn't sure about that one.

The only thing I worried about with some of them is the appropriateness for kids. I think we'd be there fairly early, so it might not be a big deal. Most reviews of some of the bar and grills only talked about the party life, and not the meals.

This is unrelated to coupons but has anyone eaten at South Street? It looks interesting online and as a drive by. LOL

Another thumbs up on both Big River Grille and Ted's. Teds has the best burgers. Big river is more restaurant than bar so no problem there, but many of the places around 2nd and Broadway are more bar. Many won't allow access to anyone under 21. It doesn't make much sense, but I think if they allow smoking you have to be 21.

The Wildhorse Saloon is a good time. I don't think you'll have an issue with kids in the early evening. entertainment usually starts around 7:00 or so. The waitress told us that kids were not a problem before 10PM. After that they prefer 21+ only.
