I just heard that the water was rising above the stage at the Opry house. The Opry house sits above the mall by a few feet. There must be at least 4 feet in the mall. Pretty unreal. They say the Cumberland is expected to crest tonight and water is already up to 3rd Ave downtown.

This flood is damaging a lot that Nashville holds sacred. I hope it crests early tonight.

The flooding here is of catastrophic proportions. The Opry House will be closed for a very long time. Luckily, the Grand Ole Opry isn"t a building, but rather a family and the show could be held almost anywhere and be the success it always has been.
