This must have been incredibly frightening for the whole audience to say nothing to the animal. I stopped taking my kids to the circus decades ago after I became aware of how elephants are stolen from their mothers and beaten into submission so they can be trained. We need to do the same about the aquatic performers in places like Seaworld.
Seaworld is a total nightmare. I went there once as a teenager and still have nightmares about it - 6 or 7 dolphins swimming around a tiny round above-ground pool the entire day so people could stand around and put their hands in the water and try to touch them. The pool was so small, bare and dingy, and it was really hot out, so even the pool water was warm. Not to mention all the bacteria that must have been in there from all those hands. Yuck. Those poor animals.
What BS for Sea World to say that it's normal and part of the whale's show to land on the concrete landing.
Not for TWENTY FIVE MINUTES! Where were the trainers or caretakers of the poor whale?
