Yup, someone saw a puppy by itself along side a road and brought it to the police dept. It turns out to be a coyote pup. The pup is going to a wildlife rehab.

They're always cute until they grow up. The pup would not do well with humans, best just let it loose when practical. Maybe he'll had out at the Police Station.

Now he does look like a puppy...

but others in the news as "pets", the black bear cub and a fox....now those are pushing it...

There are foxes tamed but they're a handful. Not for noobs at all. Some are even stranger.

Puppies sometimes don't look anything like they do when they turn into adults. This guy is cute no matter what he is. He must have strayed from the rest of his siblings and got lost. I think just about anyone would have thought he was just your run of the mill puppy.

True. I think most people just see a puppy and probably never even think about it being anything but a regular dog. At least the people that found it didn't take it home and try to raise it as a dog not knowing any better.
