I am hoping someone helps the poor thing back down. Don't imagine there is much for a raccoon to eat on top of a skyscraper (although there are plenty of food sources on the ground in urban and suburban locations).

I worked in the engineering staff at that building for several years. They had a nesting pair of peregrine falcons up on the roof for many years as well...maybe still do.
this story refers to another building in St Paul, "our" nesting pair was in the early 80's, I could go up to the mechanical penthouse and watch them in one of the outside air intakes thru one-way glass.
