If ANYONE knows of ANYTHING available, please let me know. Im looking for a 2 bedroom in ogallala or paxton.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Congratulations on the new job. What brings you to the west? Not a lot of jobs here right now...
Not sure if any of these guys handle rentals, but here are the main realtors in Ogallala:
Cobb Realty, Inc. - Real Estate Available In The Ogallala, Ne Area
Home
Index
There is a glut of homes for sale right now. Some of them may be interested in renting to the right person.
Good luck!

If you have cable, you will get both the Nebraska and Denver network stations:
KNOP, NBC, North Platte
NTV, ABC, Kearney
KOLN/KGIN, CBS, Lincoln-GI
Fox 4, Kearney
Plus the Denver affiliates, whose call letters I don't all know.
I have DirecTV, so I get just the Denver affiliates. Sometimes I miss the somewhat-local stations. Especially since they are all in Central time, so shows come on an hour earlier here in Mountain time. That is kind of nice sometimes.
I've not been sucessful in picking up any of the local stations over-the-air with rabbit ears, or even with the on-the-dish antenna.

Have you checked out this website?
It has some relocation and real estate information, as well as quite a bit of community info.

When we moved there, it was pretty much word-of-mouth. Ask people where you'll be working. Mention it to the checkout clerk in the local grocery store. Just everywhere you go, casually mention that you're looking for a place to rent. It's a small town, and somebody usually knows somebody else who has a friend who has a house to rent.
