Which counties can you get a newer house in a rural area in a good area (low crime) and not in tract housing?

Yes, be sure you don't go near Las Vegas. We'd corrupt you.

If you're worried about legalized prostitution, those are 65 miles away in Pahrump, which is in Nye County. It's illegal in Clark County. It's illegal; in Washoe County (Reno) too, but Reno is a lot closer to counties that do have it that we are.

But, since you insulted the whole state by specifying that you don't want to be close to Las Vegas, maybe a better explanation about what you do want is needed.

i HAVE no problems with prostituion or gambling. What i do have problems with is traffic congestion, too many people, waiting in long lines, paying too much for products, food and other cost of living items. Can't back out of my own driveway without worrying about getting hit by traffic or getting a ticket for parking in my driveway. Having to stop every 500 feet for traffic and pedestrian traffic.
The cooler the weather the better. I prefer less government to get involved in private citizens lives because along with that comes taxes and fees at least here this has happened where you can't mow your own lawn, burn a fire in your chimney without fear of a fine $$$. By the way those taxes and fines are never used what they are supposed to be used per government. Those funds are alway's misappropriated to used for another fund.Crooks. With the property tax we pay here they should have a surplus of $$$ to fix t he beat up roads we have here along with the inadequate public transportation here.

Right now it's highly encouraged to use public tranpsortation which is unreliable to begin with. With fare increases and parking fee increases all the time. The government here encourge more than one person in vehicle to carpool. Not mandatory yet but they are headed that direction and pushing electric cars. If one is caught in commuter lane by accident expect a fine over $500.00 plus.. Usuage of electricity is encouraged not to be used between 2-6 PM on "spare the air days".
This is just the tip of the iceberg.

OK, now I get it. I hear ya. Sometimes I wonder why my wife and I ever left Reno. I used to like it, but am no longer a fan of the heat. But, honestly, I think it's easier to drive in Las Vegas than it is in Reno. But I remember you want something more rural. There is almost no rural near Las Vegas.

Stay north of Las Vegas closer to Reno or Carson City. I prefer lower populations because here we have so many people even if you live near a hospital you cannot get any kind of care because all of the doctors are booked up months ahead..Does Nevada have this very same problem with over population that contributes to alot of these problems of traffic gridlock, crime, long waiting lines in stores, gas stations, Walmart, Banks, car repair facilities, doctor's offices? Do you have available parking spaces open or do you have to hunt and fight over parking spots?
Do you have to wait in long lines and longer times like we do here?We also run out of resources of whatever it maybe. from food to merchandise.
Well the rural part rules out Las Vegas which is probably alot more hot anyway in temps.
