my small family and i are moving to NH but not sure where to move to. we need east coast. we need to be close to I95. we love nature and would like to be close to walking trails, water, parks, some place to let the dog run. we would like a small town, good schools for the kids, friendly place with things to do, both for the kids and us young adults. not to pricey. any suggestions?

Is there a particular reason you need to be close to I-95 rather than, say, I-93? Unfortunately the towns around I-95 tend to have very expensive properties (it is the Seacoast, after all). What is your idea of "too pricey"? How far from I-95 are you willing to go?

In my opinion, the town with the best balance between affordability and good schools in the Seacoast region is probably Newmarket. Most of the other towns in the region either have higher property values & taxes, or poorer school systems. I also think it offers everything you're looking for in a town.

Any of our major highways will get you to I95. I wouldnt limit myself to areas next to i95. Lots of good town from Hudson to man hooksett area.

Look in the rural areas just west of Dover/Portsmouth/Rochester, etc. Towns like Madbury, Barrington, Northwood, etc.
