I'm a sucker for these thought provoking threads. Or maybe I'm just a sucker for responding
But what the heck, I'll play along...
1. Who told you there were no taxes? Homeowners are hammered with property taxes.
2. I live in SoCal and recently considered moving back home to NH. It would probably surprise you to learn that my tax burden would increase moving to NH. No, this isn't a typo. I'd pay more taxes in NH. How is that possible you ask? First of all, I'd insist on living in an area with good schools. Most of them have high property taxes. The towns near the Seacoast I was looking into definitely did. I'd pay more than twice the property taxes I do here in CA. NH also fails to treat my S-Corp as a pass through entity like CA. I would have to pay roughly 8.5% business income taxes. That is only 1% less than my personal income tax in CA. Much higher property taxes, slightly less income taxes. Once again, who said there are no taxes?
I use K-1 for up to 4 oil lamps for bed room heat.... My bed room is off the main house heat and it gets cooler..
Yesterday i bought K-1 for $4.78 yeah it's cheap in NH alrighty..... I can remember when clear un-dyed K-1 was under 24 cents.... I really hate that red powder dye too since it clogs wicks.... But the goobermint always knows how to best wreck a good thing... for power and greed.
None of this ever happens on the Rock Candy Mountain.....
