They want to you believe that you are alone, that the majority have shifted to the left.. sadly however is the majority in many cases have given up because of the rampant fraud and corruption of the left in every aspect.. the refusal of the media and the rinos to have a backbone.. we have a voice. we are the majority.. but the minority.. the left is heavily supported and financed and focus their message on the ones that have the most to gain..deadbeats who have all day to protest, to march, to lie. Mind numb robots who want the bennies and are willing to ***** themselves out to the devil for them. Conservative is only a dirty word to those who don't know any better.
You make several good points that I agree with. But overall.....the American public is being replaced by massive third world immigration which is changing the politics in many areas of the United States & driving it to the left. Hence California will never go GOP for generations due to this influx.

If amnesty passes this fall it is projected that 30 to 50 mllion immigrants (mostly from the third world) will be resettled in the United States in the next 20 years due to the family reunification-act & chain immigration.....that's the future.

If people think these folks are going to vote
conservative then I have a bridge to sell you. Demography is destiny.....

OK, I want examples bc from what I see - votes from last Nov are not supporting what you are saying.

May be I need to pick new people to associate with, but EVERYONE I "slightly" know (I am fairly new to the state and just meeting other "mommies") are VERY liberal. Fiscally and socially.

I would love to know that what you are saying is true. I just don't see it.

In general I think women tend to be more liberal than men, especially "mommies."

You are quite right.. this is part of the plan flood the voting base with people looking for hand outs, bury the worker under taxes and break their spirit while rewarding the lazy and criminals

I agree with CrazyDave! Most conservatives by nature keep to themselves and are not outspoken so it may not seem that we are large in number. Since the last presidential election, I have seen many speak up and becoming more vocal. I for one, am an Asian American conservative. Contrary to lamestream media, we do exist. I also agree that liberals are trying to flood this country with immigrants and give free handouts to buy their hearts and votes. Trust me, illegal immigrants do vote, why else would they push so hard against voter ID's.

On a more hopeful note, I myself came to this country as an immigrant; because we didn't speak the language and did not have any jobskills, my family was on foodstamps. Now as an adult, I am a proud US Citizen, small business owner employing close to 50 other Americans. I help my neighbor, give back to my community and now work very hard to be outspoken to be a role model and an example for other conservatives especially in the Asian/minority community. Conservatives are around you, you just have to pay closer attention. We are usually the ones that keep our opinions to ourselves and scurry our children away from any confrontation but now we are pissed off and even the shyest of us have now become vocal and in some case even becoming activists. The journalist may not write about us and Hollywood elites may bully us, but trust me, WE ARE HERE.

Good post. Sorry for taking this somewhat off topic with the immigration example. On a final note concerning immigration: everything is good....in moderation. 50 million immigrants, who are for the most part poor & do not speak english coming here in just 20 years time is going to throw the nation into chaos.

It's not that these immigrants can't ever become conservative, it's just that they are coming in such massive numbers they are going to need services & no one does "sevices" better than democrats.

Back to the NH issue: we are a purple state trending blue. To see this state become another Vermont or Maine is heartbreaking. Having been involved in NH politics since the 70s I can tell you that the NHGOP, as imperfect as it is/was did an amazing job running this state for almost 100 years.

Think of that ! Almost 100 years of one party control & until the last 10 to 15 years this state ran as well as a Swiss watch. Until that is.....the NH democratic party started to gain control. We once had the least venal state government in the country.....these days not so much.

Perhaps the tide can be stemmed and NH taken back to its roots. My wife and I are traditional small government, life/liberty/property types, and we'll definitely be voting when we move to NH We like New Hampshire for what it is and its spirit, and would hate to see it become just Northern Massachusetts.

I like New Hampshire the way it is or was which is conservative. From what I have been reading the Democrats have gained some ground there. Hang in there, my conservative friends, another limited government voter heading your way Spring/Summer 2014

I agree with all the points you made. I really like New Hampshire for what it is so it's sad that the Dems are changing things. Well you will have one more conservative vote with me after I relocate to Portsmouth next year. Bye the way, could you answer my questions on the thread I started about relocating to Portsmouth? Thanks!

Thank you all for the very interesting dialog. While I have not been on in a few days....I had much reading to catch up on. We are on our way to NH now....doing some more soul searching. If we do get to move, NH will be gaining two more conservative government votes!
