For general snowfall 93/101/125 will be salted/plowed. For a serious blizzard they may not be able to keep up in real time, but you're probably not going to work in that anyway unless your job requires showing up in emergencies (EMT, fire fighter, etc.)
In nicer weather you might prefer the prettier backroads routes rather than full highway - either 102-101-125 or 102-107-111a. That route won't be kept up quite as well, but if you have reasonable competence driving in snow it's still going to be fine most of the winter. You'd certainly want at least all-weather tires and might want to consider snow tires, but I'm comfortable enough driving in snow it wouldn't be a deterrent.
As for comparability, Derry is a bit cheaper than Exeter, certainly on a /sqft basis, but you should look at a few houses in each market. Both will generally run higher than Concord b/c of proximity to Boston and/or the coast, but there are a range of prices depending on exactly what type of property you're looking at.

I would like to take the scenic route when it is safe as long as it doesn't add a lot of time to my commute. I do have an AWD SUV so I shouldn't have too much of a problem as long as the roads aren't icy. I saw a lot of nice homes in Exeter and Derry, but they are more expensive than the ones that I saw in the areas around Concord. As you said, since they are closer to Boston and the seacoast they are more expensive.
First step is to get the job, and then pick a community to live in. Was hoping for that Concord job, but the one in Brentwood would be good as well though I suspect my expenses will be higher there.
I'd stay away from Derry, lots of undesirables from northern Mass have moved in there and really trashed the place. The further north you are in NH, the nicer it is.

There is a possibility of getting a job in Brentwood. Derry is 20 miles away. East of Brentwood is probably out as it is too expensive. What other places that make for a short commute to Brentwood would be good?
When you say undesirables from Massachusetts trashed the place, how so?

If I was working in Brentwood, I'd live north and west of there, so Epping, Raymond, Northwood, etc.
As far as people trashing the place.....I'll PM you.

I will take a look at those places, and research them as to cost of living, property taxes, schools, etc. Thank you.
