Today, I started researching who I will vote for on September 13th. For the governor's race, my boyfriend told me several days ago that he is leaning towards Edelblut. I was a little put off by all the children he has and of course, it turns out that he is pro-life. Well, so far today, I like Marchand more and he is pro-choice. I think that I can persuade my boyfriend to my way of thinking.
So that's where I'm at so far. I have more websites to visit and read. No good waiting until the last minute to do this stuff. until the last minute.
Anyway, everyone needs to get out and vote this year, both in September and in November!!
Yes, of course .I'd be put off by someone who protects the sanctity of life as opposed to furthering the racist and sexist agenda of abortion too.. what humanist wouldn't be!
Why would you care how many children he has? Does he provide for them? I'm assuming he does. What does that have to do with how good of a governor someone would make? Make your choice on the issues.
The kids of today are going to be the people taking care of you in your old age. We do need some of them around, especially in NH as we are one of the grayest states in the nation.

Don't be too hard on her, she just made me a big time Edelblut supporter

Eh. You were already there.
Anyway, I am a big supporter of Planned Parenthood. And I have always appreciated their reasonably priced services for women in the communities they serve. I was many years without health insurance and they were there for me when I lived in the Boston area when I needed a yearly physical that was affordable and birth control... not that you as a man would understand the need for.
I'm glad that you have a candidate that you are pleased to vote for. I am also pleased with my choice and so happy to see Maggie Hassam no longer our governor. Even though we both went to Brown University, I will never ever vote for her. So needless to say, I will not support her run for the Senate.
Oh, another Venture Capitalist.
Make money with money.
Great.
Well... NH does need an influx of new revenue streams. Us homeowners are straining under the burden of our property tax bills. And btw both Marchand and Edelblut are both pro-legalizing marijuana.
Still don't understand why you were "a little put off by all the children he has" and how that has anything to do with whether or not you would vote for him. He's been married for 30 years and has 7 kids. Seems to have taken pretty good care of them. Homeschooled them, even. Showing your anti-"breeders" colors again?

And the main point of my thread was for everyone to research the candidates' positions ahead of time and make sure that they cast a vote in the upcoming elections.
Of course, we are all going to having differing opinions about who to vote for. And no need to slam each other's picks. Geesh.
