One of my favorite things to do when in New Hampshire in the summertime is see a show or two at the New London Barn Playhouse. It's summer stock theater (quickly done with mostly college students) in an old barn environment.

Flume Gorge is nice, I recommend it. Lost River Gorge is also good. The Polar Caves is really just a big pile of rocks but can be interesting too.

If you like looking at old mansions there is Castle in the Clouds.

If you're into history Concord has a history museum and the State House is open to walk around in.

There are plenty of used book stores scattered around such as Books By The Lake in Bradford and Old Number Six in Henniker.

If you're going to be in Lincoln there's a candy store there which has "the world's longest wall of penny candy jars". Don't know how true that claim is but it is amazing to behold. Also near Lincoln is an historical marker commemorating the Betty and Barney Hill alien abduction claim. Supposedly the only one in America.

And yes, driving the Kancamagus is a must.

I personally wouldn't spend money on a moose tour because of the low number of moose right now due to ticks, but you can call the company and ask them the percentage of moose sightings. I don't think Littleton can keep you occupied for very long. Muddy Paws seems really expensive---$200 for a two-mile cart tour?? I dunno, I'm not sure any of your choices would be on MY list, but maybe these things sound interesting to you. We need a better idea of what you like to do and what you're hoping for from this trip.

Totally open to suggestions at this point. We love quaint walkable towns with unique little shots, eateries, Brewery / wineries, ET cie. Also, anything really unique to the state. Interesting museums, house tours, Etc
