I've been looking for a house to rent for the past few months. I've been looking for something preferably in the country. Here's my want list in order of priority (feel free to tell me what you think!):

Pets okay (dog + cat - bonus if I can bring the movable chicken coop)
Less than $1500 rent (is this realistic)
3 bedroom (bonus for 4)
1 bath (bonus for extras)
within 1 hr of manchester
1300+ sq feet

I've checked many of the local rags (see list below), but cannot find anything. Does anyone know of anything first hand or point me in the right direction?

Craigs List
Concord Monitor
Union Leader
Hooksett Banner
Suncook Valley Sun
Weirs Times
A local realtor (in chichester)

Thank you,
EC

Talk to some other realtors too. Some people rent out their homes when they can't sell. I found the one I'm renting by looking in the phone book and calling every property management company that I saw. Most only did apt buildings, but there were several that did single homes, you just have to keep calling.

There is an unoccupied house on Pendleton Lane in Londonderry. I walk past it while getting some exercise so I’ll get the street address this evening. The previous occupants moved out and the place is a semi abandoned. It might be for rent.
