We will make sure there is plenty of cracked corn out back on Thanksgiving for our flock of turkeys.....they are invited guests not on the menu.

We are breaking tradition this year, at least on my side of the family (We'll be enjoying a traditional turkey dinner with my in-laws at some point in the day) My brother (who relocated to Lexington KY 2 years ago) is coming with home for Thanksgiving with his family. He despises turkey, and usually my mom would cook a small roast beef or ham for him on Thanksgiving. However, this year we decided that the main meal will be a wonderful roast beef, with a small turkey or large chicken prepared in the rotisserie. My kids are so excited to see the cousins that they haven't seen in 2 years that we could have crackers and peanut butter and they'd still be happy 5 days in a row off from school helps with the happy mood.
