How bad would this commute be? I'm guessing it would not be pleasant in rush hour.

Not fun at all in rush hour. Assuming you have to drive, I'd say at least around an hour and a half. You basically end up heading to either Ben or Walt and then picking up the Schuylkill (I76) and taking that to 476 south to get to Radnor. My brother (and briefly I as well) used to do Collingswood to Paoli which is a little further out and it was routinely an hour and a half.

There are public transit options, but it would entail taking PATCO to 8th and Market and then walking to SEPTA's Market East Station and then picking up the Paoli/Thorndale line. This can often take just as much time to do as driving depending on making transfers, but offers a little less stress. Of course, transit only works if your ultimate destination is a reasonable walk from the station in Radnor.

Yeah, that's a ridiculous commute. If you're looking to live in a suburb, definitely stay on the Jersey side of the river if you'll be working in Marlton.

mot definitely.. Look at Collingswood, Haddonfield Moorestowe or marlton for that matter. Make the commute real close. Marlton is very nice

Bad, but not quite as bad if you're in the part of Marlton close to the Cherry Hill line. If you're close to Cherry Hill there are local roads that would get you off 70 for part of the trip.

You'd be in traffic going to Philly & against traffic going from Philly in the morning & it would reverse in the evening rush.

That said, if you have the option to make the commute at non-rush times, it's not quite as bad.

Moorestown would probably offer a feel most similar to Radnor itself. Mixture of old and new construction, great schools, plenty of big houses on big lots, but a charming suburban core as well--great main street with a lot of character (it's the latter factor that really separates Moorestown from other nearby areas like Cherry Hill and Voorhees).

Incorrect 76 west in the morning is every bit as bad as 76 east, also Fridays in the summer are horrid heading back east, factor in at least 30 extra minutes those days and 20 at least for even a weeknight home Phillies game

I would estimate 70 minutes on average

In the am, taking West River Drive to Montgomery, to Belmont to City Line & then continuing on the Sure-Kill eliminates a fair amount of westbound traffic that would be headed to City Line. Of course, if it's before sunrise or after sunset, you run the risk of needing to brake for deer while driving through Fairmont Park.

Actually, 76 moves very well Westbound until City Line from CC (usually just 5 minutes from 676), the area between city line and 476 and further to KOP is the most backed up
