I am looking for a 1 bedroom apartment in Camden County that is pet friendly. I currently live in an apartment in that has such paper thin walls that I can literally hear my downstairs neighbor on the toilet. It is very noisy here. I can hear everything and it is not even my neighbor's fault. It is just the way the building is built. I used to live in Maplewood apartments now known as Park Crossing and I never had that issue but when the management changed, the rent increased too much for me. I currently pay about $800.00 which includes heat and hot water. I would like to keep it close to that. I am looking for a complex because I need to give 60 days notice and I know that only a complex would hold an apt for 60 days for me. Does anyone have any suggestions? Has anyone had any positive experiences in any apartments in Camden County?

Camden County is pretty large. You want to narrow it down to a few areas or towns?

I really don't care what part of Camden County as long as it is safe. The areas I would not consider are Blackwood, Camden, Westville, Gloucestor City, Pennsauken, Stratford, Pine Hill, and Lindenwold.

Default Apartment woes

Hmm? Looks like this guy is looking to leave the same apartment complex that you're in:

Like the previous poster stated, Camden County is pretty large, so some idea of where you're looking to go would be helpful.

I can tell you that Echelon Glen Apts. on White Horse Rd, in Voorhees wouldn't be to your liking. I stayed there for a year awhile back and had a similar problem with being able to hear my neighbor's through the walls and vice versa...this kinda sucked as I could hear them comment on stuff that I said...very f'n weird and creepy.

Ironically, I also an upstairs neighbor who was an escort / call girl. She bought her "johns" back to her place on a regular basis. Never heard a peep through my ceiling though...guess it's just the walls! LOL!

Was a decent place otherwise...

P.S. Agree with you on the apartment complexes in Lindenwold (regular drug busts on the ones on Gibbsboro Rd), Pine Hill. Avoid ALL Apts. on Blackwood Clementon Rd. in both towns.

While not Camden County, but close enough in Burlington County:

Ryan's Run - Maple Shade
Pickwick - Maple Shade
Ramblewood Village - Mt. Laurel
Allison - Marlton

As for Camden County itself, is Robin Hill in Voorhees still decent?

Main Street or The Club in Voorhees? My friend has lived in The Club for a few months and so far he's really enjoyed it. They have a gym and a pool, too.

The Club at Main Street in Voorhees is very nice...but rentals start at $1,300. I remember paying $750.00 for a small 1 bedroom apt at Echelon Glen in Voorhees on White Horse Rd back in '98...Guaranteed to be more pricey now for the same sq. ft. of space.
