Yeah, I know. I waited too long. My husband and I had a GREAT CPA do our personal and business taxes for 15 years and then he left NJ (imagine that). We were so bummed about him leaving that I procrastinated about getting anyone else on board. Right now, I only need someone to do personal returns, but I'd like to find an accountant that I can use in the future when I start up another business.

Does anyone know a friendly, competent CPA in southern NJ? I live in Gloucester County, so Cumberland, Gloucester, parts of Salem, Camden and parts of Burlington (like Marlton) are fine. Even if you think they are too busy, I'd be happy to get their name for next year. I called a CPA firm here in my town today and they told me to call back next January.

Love my accountant--friendly and highly competent. Anthony F. Bruce--he's in Cherry Hill.

Thank you! I wound up filing for an extension, figuring I will find someone after they catch their breath, starting tomorrow.

Just wanted to update this thread and say the other poster's advice was very good. Very happy with Anthony Bruce's work. Very nice guy and competent. That's all I ask. Gave me a lot of time at our first meeting, explained everything well. http://afbcpa.com/
