I'm newly transplanted from Newark, NJ. Spent a lot of time clubbing in NYC. I live in Voorhees, near Cherry Hill and I'm having a hard time finding a decent party. I'm asking if anyone knows of any specific clubs / bars that I can check out. I'm in my early 30s and I love Hip Hop and R&B. I'd really prefer someplace local, but I don't mind traveling to Philly (if I have to). Bars are okay, but I'm really trying to find someplace to dance. Anyone know of any afterhours spots? Since clubs close so early. I'm looking for specific clubs, not general areas or streets to look at. If you can suggest a spot, please let me know if you've actually been there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Any suggestions????
I transplanted from North Jersey a a year and a half ago and I enjoy Taylors a lot.
A lot of the life long residents love PJs and Prospectors but I am not a fan and only go when dragged. Especially Prospectors with that COUNTRY music! So NOT my cup of tea. PJs is more tolerable, but really not all that.
To me, Taylors is the best option lol.
I heard Posh a newer place on Route 38. near Moorestown Mall is good, but haven't had a chance yet to go.
If you are looking for a more chill night when you don't feel like dancing and just wanna have a drink...I am OBSESSED with Swanky Bubbles. It's a champagne bar / place to eat. It's on Evesham Road in Cherry Hill. It has a really good atmosphere.
And Redstone in Marlton on Rt. 73 is a nice atmosphere place to have a drink, especially in the summer.
Umm I kinda know of this local dance studio in Runnemede NJ that teaches Adult Hip Hop dance classes its called Gp Entertainment Dance Studio its on the black horse pike they have like a million ads on craigslist
