Hi Jersians,
I've been moving to Grove Street (NJ) with my family (wife and 3.5 yrs kid). The apt is near PATH Station, I think its one of the metropolis buildings.
Having few clarifications regarding the place.
1# How safe is Grove St for family
2# Any schools nearby? and would this be the right time to look for admission.
3# Do we have any play area for kids around ? or kind of park near the Grove PATH ?

i dont know about public schools, but Grove Street has come a long way over the past decade. I don't know that i'd say it's 100% safe, but it seems to be fine now. Parts of JC will always have some spill over from neighboring rough areas. My friend that lives near Exchange Place has even seen some bad things from his apartment window. all in all though, it's about par for "city living" i'd say. you just have to be smart.
Thats not PATH , thats the Newark Light Rail....my god what state are you form Michigan?
Dang I always get those two mixed up. It takes you to the Newark Penn station. Thanks for the correction.
