Hi, We are considering a house at Spring Valley Road in Oradell. Please anyone living around the neighborhood can advise us how busy does this road gets during the week. We have young kids and finding it hard to decide whether to buy here or not.

Many Thanks!!

While Spring Valley Road in Oradell is a busy road it's not as busy as some of the other roads in the area (such as Oradell Ave, Kinderkamack Road, or Midland Ave in Paramus/River Edge). Mostly it attracts local traffic since the road is residential. Also I believe the speed limit is 25 mph so the cars shouldn't be flying up and down the street (not to say it doesn't happen every now and again). I can never really recall a time where Spring Valley has ever been backed up or swamped with traffic so that's another plus. What's also nice is in that location you have a nice sized neighborhood behind you if your kids ever want to ride scooters or bikes and there's a park not too far away on Prospect Street across from Oradell Public School (Memorial Park) if your leery about the kids playing on the lawn outside the home.

Best of luck to you!!
