My aunt and her family from Tampa Bay area in Florida wants to move to NJ and looking for some advice. They have 3 children (2 in high school, 1 in middle school). The husband and wife will find a job in retail, and the two high school kids will work part-time in retail.
Since they have lack of money, they want to rent an apartment/townhouse/house with 3-4 bedrooms in Bergen County for maximum $2000. Is there any way they could afford that?.. otherwise they won't move to NJ, which is their dream. In Tampa, they rent a house with 3 bedrooms for only $1000.
You might be able to find a house rental in Fair Lawn for under $2000. Probably most likely in a smaller cape cod that hasn't been updated. Fair Lawn is very near Paramus, which has tons of malls and retail jobs.
