You only got off from Yom Kippur and Rosh Hassanah.
There are way more Jewish holidays than these two.

Christians get off two weeks during Christmas/New Year, and one week for Easter, which usually falls during easter week.

USA has no Jewish federal holidays

Yeah, but it's not a given like December Holiday. I guess it depends on the town. I think our town tries to deliberately pick other random weeks that don't have Easter or Passover in them.

So, perhaps it would have been more accurate if you stated that some Christians don't get Easter Week off from school.

Few things in life are absolutes, including this issue.
