Greylock Avenue, Belleville, NJ (Nutley, Washington: apartments, schools, price)

We are moving to NJ soon and are looking for apartments. We found an apartment on Greylock Avenue, Belleville for a really good price...almost suspiciously good price.

Could you please let me know if this area is safe? We don't care about much else (schools, nightlife etc.).

Its in an Industrial Flood Zone area...

This is somewhat inaccurate. This is only for a few blocks east of Washington Avenue. As long as you are above Washington, then no flood worries. Overall, not bad, particularly the part of Greylock near Belleville H.S./Nutley border.
