need renting info for Bridgewater NJ (Middlesex: apartments, rental, condos)

Hi,

From Maryland, I'm moving to Bridgewater for a job. I'm looking to rent a place between Bridgewater and Middlesex. What areas should I check out for an easy commute to either areas (less than 15 miles), affordable 1 bedroom to rent or 2 bedrooms to share with a roommate (max $1000/month for 1 bedroom), and good/safe neighborhoods? Any suggestions on apartment communities or other renting options to check out?

at the intersection of Main and Finderne. We had friends who lived there and they felt it was relatively a nicer place to live, compared to some other apartments they had seen elsewhere.

You should also check out individual townhomes or condos being offered for rental by owners. They will be more desirable parts.
