are you sure this is correct? it was always my understanding that the state pays the claimants, funded by taxing employers. i didn't think individual claims had any impact on the employer.

its like experience based insurance, the company pays more when it has more people collecting.

in this instance, if the employer cant present your resignation letter you will probably win if you appeal the denial. the burden is on the employer.

If they laid you off, they have to provide a letter.
If they fired you, they don't.
You made a bad decision, by just walking away from this.
Don't worry though, you'll still win, unless the employer has all kinds of proof of your firing and bad behavior.
Call up the UI place and ask them what to do.

If my ex employer denied my unemployment benefits should I find a lawyer to help me with the appeal process..

Unhappy is there hope in fighting a attendance policy and when.

What's the odds of actually getting your benefits even if you were fired denied benefits but appealed what's the odds of getting it..reason for being fired is there points system for attendance which they waited for the end of April to go back February and start looking at all employees attendance
