Superbowl here we come!
I'll take a butt ugly win over a "well played" loss anyday!

The Giants have had such a hot/cold season and those 49er's were a force to contend with

Praying for a smokin' hot performance on the 5th

They always know something.

Since I despise both teams, I will be rooting for my office pool box to win.

Who would've thought a 9-7 team would make it? I was at the week 6 game and they were a disaster (even though they won) due to injuries, etc. I never in my wildest dreams would've expected this.

GO BIG BLUE!

No team with a 9-7 regular season has EVER won the superbowl.

If NY Giants beat San Francisco 49ers and go on to win Super Bowl XLVI against Ravens or Patriots, they would be worst champion ever, record-wise - NY Daily News

I think I read somewhere that 4 teams w/ that record made it to the superbowl but none has won it.

Lets hope for a Giant NFL first

As a Pats fan, I don't like their chance against the Giants.

Amen! I actually thought no 9-7 team ever MADE it to the SB, I see that 3 have.

10-6 > 16-0

Let's hope 9-7 > 13-3 !

both 9-7 teams actually competed in the big games. 3 years ago, the Cardinals went ahead briefly against the Steelers, before Santonio Holmes of the Steelers caught the ballet-style TD with 35 seconds left. Then in 1979, the Steelers played the 9-7 Rams. No one gave the Rams a chance, but they were actually winning after 3 quarters, 19-17, before the Steelers scored twice in the 4th quarter. The Steelers were only up 24-19 with 6 minutes left in the game, and the Rams were driving, but Vince Ferragamo threw an INT to Jack Lambert, which effectively ended that game. Still remember it like it was yesterday.
