Moving my family from Suffolk County Long Island to NJ this summer. We have been looking into Clinton, Anondale, Asbury towns. Can anyone give insight into how long the commute would be eastbound to Union township (zip code 07083) weekday mornings and evenings? Schools very important!

Thanks in advance

That's a terrible commute, I would look for something a little closer. Branchburg,Bridgewater,Warren.
Of course prices go up because the location is better.

you should be able to find a 3br townhouse in whitehouse station for around 350k-375k. good town with great schools. i wouldn't live there because it seems to be in the middle of nowhere but everyone has a different preference.

LOL - in other words, the worst possible time.

Really, ANYTHING directly off of 78 is fine (exception: Plainfield but I don't think that's directly off 78), it's just setting your expectations. The further east, generally the more $$$.
