I am looking at possibly buying a house in scotch plains by a bos stop at hetfield and north ave. When I look at the schedule for the 113, it is not on there. Although on the nj transit site it says it is a stop on the route. Does anyone know any information about this and where I can get a schedule with all the stops?
Also, if you have taken that commute into NYC, please share your experience.
Thank you
I live in Westfield and catch the 113 bus. On a good day the commute flies and I can be home within 50 mins from PANYNJ - on a bad day it can be double. There is not usually an issue going into the City (with buses starting as early as 5:30am), but the ride from PANYNJ can be unpredictable - at least 1x/week you are waiting on a long line.
What part of Scotch Plains are you looking at - I believe the 114 passes through some parts. You also have the option of the train (although it requires a transfer in Newark to get to NYC).
Out of curiosity what is your price range - you may have some options in surrounding towns that are closer to the City and offer great neighborhoods.
