There is a guy in Haiti named Bobby Duval who started a charity program for kids to play soccer to keep them off the streets. His goal was to get Haiti back to the World Cup. His rationale was that it was a cheaper and more efficient way to raise morale of the country: the power of getting back to the World Cup would be more important to Haiti than training 1,000 doctors or teachers.
NJ, as a state, gets crapped on all the time. Psychologically, I think many New Jerseyans are proud of her, especially now that America knows she came from NJ.
Christie made the right decision.
I completely disagree with both points. Everyone I have talked to about it has various feelings about the subject, but proud of her? No, that wasn't how I hear it. She was talented, absolutely. But proud is something you use for, say, soldiers.. firefighters... police officers.. and the like.
As for Christie making a right decision... does he even know how to do that?

Whitney houston caused her own death & flying the flag at half-staff for a entertainer is not warranted. Christie is just pandering for votes & he should be more concerned about his health (weight) then this bull****.
Faux outrage is always amusing to witness.
The media, politicians, those who NEED to be offended about something will milk it until the next story & then it will go away.
Who cares?
I personally have no respect for those that do not respect themselves.
