Haha, yeah I would love to know where Magic78 lives. Wherever it is, the town obviously has the lowest taxes, best schools, and no crime (and certainly no scary K-marts) We should all move there.

The whole point of this forum is to get people's opinions on towns, neighborhoods, etc. Nobody has to agree with my point of view. West Orange isn't great to spend $800,000 for a house. My kids are going to private school, so public schools are not an issue for us. If you look at previous posts, I state where I live. My town has decent (but not great, especially the high school) schools, lower taxes than anywhere in Essex County which is where we moved from, and low crime. I have never felt safer in my entire life than where I live right now.

I think that people are in denial of the following things because South Orange is suppose to be this desirable place where diversity, tolerance, beautiful homes and a midtown direct train can connect quiet suburban living with the energy of Nyc;[LEFT]
