I should've footnoted it with proper citations. My apologies!

As someone else posted, it is really depends on where you go. When I go by work it is a very large DMV and usually there are very long lines inside.

When I go by my house there is a much smaller location that is hardly ever busy.

To modify an old saying...I could tell you which MVC office I go to, but then I would have to kill you.

I don't intend to ruin a good thing by letting everyone else know which MVC office is somewhat under-utilized, and is blessed with a very pleasant staff!
I'm thinking you and Tahiti may be going to the same DMV that I do. In the past few years I don't think I've waited for more than 15 minutes for any transaction, and all the employees there are friendly to boot.

The issue is not the smile, the issue is the face recognition software being used. Since their software cant handle it, they expect the sheeple to just go along with it and refuse them the ability to have a flattering picture on their license. Its not a "right", i get it, but its also not right that yet again we are being told what to do and how to do it whether we like it or not for little to no gain.

I don't normally smile in any picture. But I also DO NOT want facial recognition software used on the general public. The problem is that they give you NO choice, no freedom to do as you please as long as your not harming anyone.

I was unaware that only pictures of people smiling were flattering. You learn something new every day.

You aren't supposed to smile for a passport picture, and it's been that way for years.

Very likely the same location, but...please...don't spoil it for us by revealing this location to everyone else!

Likely the time it takes for most of us to drive to your Batcave DMV will negate any time savings. So you can keep your Atlantis DMV.
