I typically take NJ Tr from Bay Street in Montclair to Hoboken and then the PATH to WTC. What is the best alternate route until things get back to normal. I'm thinking a bus to Port Authority then the subway to WTC. Is there a bus I can get on Bloomfield close to the Bay Street Station?

Doesn't look like there's anything good. Some of the Decamp #66 buses to Port Authority pass through town, or NJT #28 to Newark to catch an NEC train (will take forever).

No go. PATH was flooded between Newark and JSQ, so that line isn't running. Nor is the WTC line running from either Hoboken or JSQ. You could drive to JSQ, take that to 14th, then head over to the 1/2/3, but most likely parking at JSQ is going to be difficult. Also it's not clear the OP has a car.

DeCamp 33 or 66 bus to PABT would be the best option (Bus Routes & Schedules from Northern NJ to NYC). Subways are running downtown from Times Square.

Alternatively you could drive to Met Life Stadium or Liberty Science Center to take the "emergency buses" to Lower Manhattan.

Riding your bike from the Bay Street area to Northern Light Rail Terminal is about a mile should take 10 minutes...

Thanks for all the info. I'll grab the Decamp bus tomorrow and see how it goes. My coworker suggests the same commute route and said the getting into work was not bad the return commute is brutal.
