Hello, I am currently looking to move down to this area. I notice alot of construction on the pkwy. I am in the begining stages of finding a town to open a business.

I am looking for:
-average household income $125K+
-High traffic areas close to a highway
-Fairly large 21+ population.
**Bonus if 3am closing of bars is possible

My new buisiness will be a restaurant that emphasizes on sports and large screen televisions.

Looking for city-data posters to give me some towns that fit the bill to look further into.
Can someone suggest similar establishments that are already in the area? I am trying to stay away from towns such as LBI and high tourist areas. This bar will be more for local residents and year round operation.

Please share any information you may have to further direct me in the appropriate direction.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to give your input.

There really isn't much down there besides route 71 and thats a summer Highway....so most of the year its quiet. Its also a part of NJ that took a huge hit from Sandy and alot of people are starting to question living so close to the Water or even down their in general for commuter proposes... You could look Further North in one of the larger towns but that will be more expensive. Look into setting up shop in a Railroad town in South Jersey , a constant stream of commuters will fill your bar or resturant daily and if you offer breakfast its guaranteed a success in that dept. I know a few people who decided to set up shop near Train stations here in NJ and there doing well... Better then there Highway counterparts , once gas prices go up business will slow or stall for you as opposed to Transit....which is always high to begin with and higher once gas prices climb....
