Hello everyone, I need help looking for websites that give a lot of detail into short rentals. I'm looking at a 3-4 month rental in either Essex or Hudson (or close by, Union too?), 1-2 beds, I can't seem to find a decent website that will show me the avg price for this criteria. I am doing it by website because I am looking from out of the country right now. Any ideas?

Typically you'll pay at least 10% more than the current market rent for a 6-month lease, but many complexes won't do a 3-4 month lease anyway- if they have a low vacancy rate, they won't bother.
I know of two places that used to do 6 mos. rentals...not sure if they still do. One is in Springfield, it borders Millburn and is called Short Hills Village on Forest Drive. These are older apartments but were very well kept. Very good location.
The other is Avalon at Florham Park. These were newer more contemporary units and were a little more expensive. Florham Park is Morris County but it is right on the border of Essex county.

Very well stated. Pretty hard to find what you are looking for. Might want to check with private rentals first. That is probably your best bet.
Craigslist dot com they have a big real estate section and many short term rentals.
Good point. I do not know how I forgot that one.
