Hey, peace/anti-crime crusaders, you've won. Violent crime has dropped dramatically nearly everywhere in the US since the 1990s. So you're going to declare victory and stop picking on gun owners, right? No? Ah, then it wasn't really about peace or crime, was it?

It isn't about crime or social tranquility, nor has it ever been, nor will it ever be--your choice of adage is, of course, morally applicable to only one side of this "debate," an exposition which is, unfortunately, morphing into a culture war of proportions that no one could possibly have foreseen twenty years ago.

And it appears that ole' Joisey (and perhaps along with PA in the near future) will continue, unfortunately, to be part of an avant-garde which is committed to the wholesale destruction of just about all remaining vestiges of human autonomy.

There you have it.

Scratch the surface of many NJ legislators and there's a itching to get out.

Who cares. There are items of more pressing importance that our elected officials neglect to do...

A stupid movie theater owner in Missouri had someone pop into the theater with a fake assault rifle to "scare" people at the end of Iron Man 3. A few takeaways:
Za
1 - after Aurora, only an idiot gun nut would consider this a funny "prank"

2 - law-abiding gun owners were taken completely by surprise again

3 - prankster was lucky he wasn't used for target practice had someone gotten the jump on him

Just another crazy American gun story.
