Forgot about the Norwalk Aquarium! I took my daughter and niece there when they were kids. They loved it.
great aquarium! Also, there's a must stop not too far "Pepe's Pizzeria". Kids AND Adults love this place! Delicious!
My kids love to jump on the train even if for a couple of stops and we then go to some ice cream shop ...yes same common theme...yummy food
Central Park zoo in the city is a good trip as well. Picnics in almost any park rock as well. If you dont have once of those back seat thingys for your bike, I recommend you get one. Our kids at 2-3 would love riding in the back seat of our bikes while going thru various parks! Now we have one those crazy looking extensions for bikes where our 3 and 5 year old just love it.
The underside of the Pulaski Skyway is always a tremendous experience. Kids love it and on any given day a small piece of concrete might fall somewhere along the way as a souvenir.
