It looks like the scheduled construction is going to make quite a mess, and delays all over will be the norm during the construction. Route 22 ramps from Bridgewater to Somerville to close for three months starting this weekend | NJ.com

I know the repairs and changes to the exchange are desperately needed, but whilst the construction is underway, it is going to be a nightmare for commuters.

Eh, this shouldn't really cause much in delays. The only people who will be inconvenienced at all would be people going from 22 EB that want to go to North Bridge Street (north of 22), they're going to have to either use the median U-turn, or go down to Finderne Ave to turn around. They're also not mentioned in this article at all in terms of detour routing.

Everyone else is going to ignore the terrible directions given by the person in the article (which WOULD cause delays, if anyone follows them, as then all the traffic for 3 different directions would be sitting at the slow median u-turn), and just take the Davenport St exit instead a couple hundred feet earlier.

Overall: The people on Davenport St are going to have a lot more road noise for 3 months.
