The website attached includes some recent pictures of the new facade of Lululemon in Montclair. It replaces the old Karls appliance store on Bloomfield avenue. like 100% better than what was there before.
So they replaced a perfectly good (if overpriced) US-based appliance store with an incredibly overpriced granola yoga clothing company run out of Canada, and this is a good thing?
Bah. Karls' facade might have been dated, but more California/Canada granola is something no one needs.
Lululemon is a Yoga inspired apparal company. Basically they sell high end yoga gear. If Apple is associated with computers Lululemon is yoga.
nybbler this is a great thing. That corner is one of the best locations in Montclair. It was the wrong type of store for that corner. The facade was beyond dated. It was hideous. This along with the improvements to South Park Street really add to the look at feel of the street.

it's a business run by a hugely arrogant a-hole, who's quite possible racist, and "accidentally" manufactured $100 yoga pants that were see through. great addition to the community. lol
Lululemon, Starbucks & Gymboree. The pretentious troika of suburban stroller moms.
Gymboree is the less expensive brand owned by the same company that owns Janie & Jack. Get with the program man! (we never find anything we like in Gymboree, but they have lots of good sales so occasionally we get some stuff there).
