Wow! I'm watching one of my favorite television shows, Kitchen Nightmares, this evening, and a restaurant in Fairlawn known as Campania is being featured. For those unfamiliar with this show, world-reknown chef Gordon Ramsey, who owns a popular restaurant in Manhattan, goes into troubled restaurants and transforms them in the matter of about a week. After seeing some of the nasty customers that dined at that restaurant, all I can say is that I'm glad I'm not a server in NJ! I'm about to watch the second-half of the show, and this will be the first time ever Chef Ramsey yells at a customer. WOW! I'm on the edge of my seat!

is this just another round about way at saying we are all nasty people here in Jersey?
I used to be a server - I rarely (I can only think of one time) had an issue with a customer. Since this is a "reality" show, they do what other "reality" shows do - edit to make it more sensational.

Meh.
Wait. We shouldn't believe everything we see on television?

dude. seriously. i really do enjoy your posts, but the broad brush strokes you're famous for really need to be toned down.

Tahiti: You're a bright gal but clearly you didn't get the memo...
NJ bad, PA Good
I wish I could honestly agree with the 1st part of your comment. I for one find the lame excuses to keep bashing NJ and heaping praise upon Scranton etc tiresome at best.
Hehe Chef Ramsey called the complaining lady "an old bag". She really did seem like she just wanted to get on television or get her meal comped. The show did make people from Jersey look kinda nasty especially with the verbal sparring in the parking lot. I'll have to check out the restaurant now. I like how Chef Ramsey ripped on their strip mall location. Its not exactly picturesque being on Broadway in Fair Lawn.
